Incredible opportunity for an ambitious, experienced mason/supervisor to spearhead a new division of an established company.

Successful candidate will work from setup to completion of each concrete pour. The company specializes in the completion of multiple small pours each day. HOLES is quickly becoming the leader in the service, support, and safety of New Jersey’s Infrastructure. Beginning pay scale will be above average wages with overtime and double time available late night, Sundays and Holidays.

The aggressive person will be willing to work long hours, possible odd hours including some weekends and off hours when necessary. The person will be willing to get the job done, strong sense of accomplishment and pride from a job well done. The employee will be treated like a company partner and not an employee.

Based in the Meadowlands area of New Jersey, this new division is a spin off of a successful construction company celebrating its 10th year in business.

Requirements:


A highly talented concrete mason with experience in working in all phases of construction, rehabilitation, and repairs of concrete and cement work; forming, smoothening and finishing surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs and any other concrete miscellaneous work.

• Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods and   techniques used in the masonry trade.
• Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, and blueprints.
• Sound knowledge of the tools and equipment of the masonry trade and skill in their safe use.
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
• Reading and writing utilizing basic English communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working  relationships with others.
• Ability to lead and teach apprentices.
• Ability to plan and organize work and to meet schedules  and time lines.
• Finished concrete surfaces, or wetted and rubbed concrete with abrasive stone to impart finish.
• You must send a complete resume or chronology of your career.
• You must have a cover letter stating why you are not an ordinary mason/employee.
